There’s a line in “Sinners”, something to the effect that white people like the blues just fine, they just don’t like the people who play it. When it comes to the Bible, it’s the opposite problem. Christians (of a demonic variety) like Secretary Pete just love the idea of white Jesus, who was magically de-Jewed when the WHITE-dove Holy Spirit put his foreskin back on, but they really don’t like what Jesus is playing and saying. Because it is difficult to imagine NT Jesus getting real positive about the soul review Pete is gonna get when the time for that comes. “Lethality” is not one of Jesus’ favorite terms of mission. Instead, he preaches about love, forgiveness, charity till it hurts really bad, and other things most Americans count as stupid and subversive.
But the main reason DJT appointed or anointed Pete as his pusher of death is Pete preaches a thoroughly MMA-style Jesus whose mission profile is kind of a lot like that of the people who run Iran. In fact, it is the great similarity in character and style between the goons of the current USA regime, and the (surviving) goons of the current Iranian regime which should get your attention.
